With a 3-layer chrome and plastic construction, they provide both style and protection, guarding against scratches, shocks, and wear. These trim strips are versatile, suitable for use on the interior and exterior of your car, truck, SUV, ATV, UTV, or aluminum boat.

The Car Door Edge Guards are available in a silver color, but black is also an option. They are made of high-quality epoxy resin and chrome, ensuring durability and heat resistance. The trim is flexible and easy to cut to the exact size needed, with a built-in, strong double-sided adhesive for easy installation without the need for additional glue.

This product is compatible with most sedans, trucks, SUVs, ATVs, UTVs, and aluminum boat door edges, trunk lids, hoods, and grilles. However, it is not recommended for vehicles equipped with rubber strips or those with particularly thick car doors, such as Tesla and Volkswagen Passat models.

For optimal installation, follow these steps: 1. Clean the application area with rubbing alcohol or water. 2. Peel back the protective tape from the tip of the lining, ensuring the tape is installed on the inside of the door. 3. Starting from the top, insert the lining onto the door edge until it is fully seated. 4. Press the lining firmly with your thumb along the door edge until it is fully seated, then remove the remaining protective strip. 5. The trim can be cut and re-installed with scissors if needed for curved surfaces. 6. Do not wash your car for 1-2 days after installation.

Please note that if the temperature is below 25 degrees Celsius, it is recommended to use a heat gun or blow dryer to heat the trim for 20-50 seconds, making it more pliable and easier to apply to curved surfaces.
